Fact: Nearly a quarter of a million Northwest North Carolinians are currently in need of food assistance on a regular basis. About 1/3 of those in need are children. With times getting tighter, as well as a growing financial burden on our community, these numbers are dramatically increasing. Thousands of our community’s neighbors need your help.
That’s why Todd’s Easy Moves has joined forces with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina to MOVE For HUNGER.
Approximately 40 million people relocated in the United States in 2009. MOVE For HUNGER is an organization that collects unwanted, non-perishable food from those who are relocating. Our professional moving staff will assist in boxing the donations during the moving process. MOVE For HUNGER will then make arrangements for these items to be delivered to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina.
By teaming up with Wheaton World Wide Moving and its agents, MOVE For HUNGER will bring a tremendous amount of relief to those most desperate for our help.
